Can this tool extract text from scanned PDFs?

This tool extracts embedded text data from PDFs. Scanned documents that consist of images without embedded text layers will not yield readable text. OCR functionality is not currently supported.

Will the extracted text preserve the original formatting?

The extracted text is plain text without formatting such as bold, italic, or font styles. The text order follows the logical reading order of the PDF content.

Can I extract text from a specific page only?

Currently, the tool extracts text from all pages at once. You can then copy the portion you need from the extracted results.

What languages are supported?

The tool extracts text in any language that is embedded in the PDF, including Latin, CJK (Chinese, Japanese, Korean), Arabic, and other scripts.

Can I download the extracted text?

Yes. You can copy the text to your clipboard or download it as a .txt file for further use.
